Thought you would like that one. My suggested slogan for a centrist energy policy is, "Drill, Nukes, Conserve and Innovate - Now!" Take away this zero-sum tug of war over the issue and address all the fronts at once. We need more domestic hydrocarbons for the short-term, we need more nuke capcaity, we need to start to reduce our usage too, however, and we need to get alternative sources on the development track to go from single digits to a big share of our energy usage in a few decades. I want to vote for the candidate who will do that.
