I think you have this picture in your head that Wright was in Obama's church saying "GD America" every week for 20 years. That simply isn't true. That is only the picture that Fox News feeds you.

I don't recall getting ANY information about this subject from FNC. CNN has covered it quite well (and since I now get CNN in HD, that's what I've been watching the last week or so). I do have to tolerate the liberal bias, but it is nice to see some of the CNN anchors look not-quite-so-perfect as before.

On to your question. The simple fact is that Obama himself condemned these remarks -- all of them -- today. The problem, of course, is that he was condemning Wright's remarks that he made yesterday at the Press Club. But he conveniently overlooked the fact that Wright has been saying these things for years.

What you say, "Simply isn't true" is not consistent with the facts. While it may not have been every Sunday, there is plenty of footage of this anti-American hate speech to make it clear that Obama could not conceivably have missed it.

There is a reason this is a huge news story, even in the liberal media. That reason is that everyone (but you and the other lefties on this thread) knows damned well just how serious it is. It could well end Obama's political career, and certainly appears to be doing him great damage in the primary. As Gingrich said this morning, it may be sabatoge on Wright's part -- it is THAT bad.

That you are able to overlook it is a testament to your extremist views and undying support for Obama.
