Saying that 9/11 was caused by gays and lesbians and the ACLU pissing God off is repugnant. Saying that Katrina was God's punishment for the rampant homosexuality in New Orleans is repugnant. Saying the Supreme Court is a greater threat to the US than Al Qaeda is repugnant. They aren't just repugnant, they are just as nutty as much of what Wright had to say, tinfoil-hat kind of conspiracy thinking. But those guys got to be on TV for decades and raise zillions of dollars and go to prayer breakfasts with presidents, with hardly any scrutiny of their views and actions. And when scrutiny came they played the victim and used it to raise more money. Funny, I don't remember Jesus ever going to fundraisers.
