Zim the Amazing, you are obviously mathematically illiterate or you would know that that gives no information other than that you have made some gain somewhere between zero and a lot. <A chart of my portfolio value is climbing west to east at a slope of around 60% and gaining altitude rapidly. >

If you change the divisions on your vertical and horizontal axes, you can make that angle anything you like.

Or, maybe you were making a subtle and sophisticated joke which few would understand. To convey the information in easily understood form, you could say "US$ value 1 April 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004 etc back to when you turned 15". Readers could then set their own gradient for the graph of your wealth growth depending on their preference.
