Of course not. You don't run a national radio show taking unscreened callers. That would be suicide. The man is in business; no professional would be stupid enough to allow unscreened callers on the air. While I've never called, I'd wager the calls to Rush's show are HEAVILY screened to insure they don't get crazies, and to be sure they have a strong position and can make their case for that position. He didn't get to be the best in the business by just letting any fool who calls on the air.

Someone said he only puts on the stupid liberal callers, and I simply said, "How does he know they're stupid?" Maybe they're just liberals.

Their job is to make sure the show isn't boring, and to do that, all callers, Left or Right, have to be able to make cogent points, discuss the subject intelligently, and not seize up on the phone. And they have to be able to think on their feet if they are going to be able to communicate with Rush. Liberal or conservative, I don't think "only the stupid" would fit that description.
