Eisenhower warned us all in January 1960. That's why we need an intelligent President. When you have a President who doesn't know what he is doing, the M-I Complex will direct strategy. When the VP is really the one calling the shots and he has long ties to Halliburton, it's even worse. Look at how Obama was prepared for the gas tax issue. Because of his Illinois experience with a gas tax holiday, Obama was 2-3 steps ahead of McCain and Clinton, and steadfast, knowing he had studied, analyzed it, and was right. Two birds with one issue.
