Especially IMPORTANT is for a President to pick the "best and brightest" to run agencies like FEMA and not pick old CRONIES to do the job. When we went into Iraq the FIRST people hired there to run things were chosen NOT because of their abilities, but because of their Connections to the Republican Party. So...I guess you're saying that you would have blamed the Mayor and the Governor if you had lost family members in New Orleans or any other disaster, but you wouldn't even have cared that the President didn't even KNOW you were standing on a roof begging for help? Do you regularly "checkup" on your Mayor and Governor's preparations for disasters?
