He was such a Bush fan and has been mostly pro-Iraq. All of the other things you're using to brand him as "liberal" happened 20 years ago or more. I think that Matthews still considers himself a Democrat, but if he runs as one, I certainly won't be supporting him in a primary. He's pretty conservative. -Z
