Wow David, that's bad news for the Dems with all of their self-fulfilling prophecies about a "recession."

And I thought Merrill Lynch said that the US was already in a recession back in January:

That's not what ECRI is saying and they are the premier forecaster. What happens with the gov't figures is that they come back a quarter or two later and revise previous figures. They claim it's because of the delay in pulling the data together, but in reality it's trying to hide how bad things are so that they don't make it a self-fulfilling prophecy. Expectations management in other words.
