This thread should not become an energy thread - but having followed alternative fuel research a bit, I can see huge number of methods to transport energy: hydrogen in safe tablets, ammonia, ethanol and many others. There are a huge number of parameters involved in how to use them - the recent problem with ethanol that isn't compatible with engine parts in modern cars is just one of them. Since there are investors in so many energy transport methods, I guess it is unrealistic for this thread to agree on what method will become the most viable in the future.
