Who said anything about shifting payers from the individual to gov't? We've been talking about collective bargaining.

It's clear that you can't get it or won't. Companies do collective bargaining all the time, negotiating a better deal.

What's clear to me is that you don't really grasp how market economies work, even though you claim that we should let the market rule.

Healthy economies don't shield industries from cost cutting and innovation. Healthy economies force industries to innovate or die. The healthcare industry should not be given any special treatment. It's time to force them to innovate and cut costs to make health care more affordable for everyone. Our gov't needs to set the right policies and priorities to make that a reality.

And people like you need to learn a little compassion for the folks who can't afford $15K a year insurance. We are one people and sometimes we need to think about how to lift up the whole country, not just the top 1%. I know that is tough for you, but give it a shot. You'll feel better about yourself.
