If you can't admit that the health care industry is inefficient

I'd be the last person to say claim the health care industry is "efficient". I've never said anything remotely like that. My remarks have been totally limited to the area of insurance and claims processing, about which I am an expert.

What I have said, consistently, is that the problems within this area stem from GOVERNMENT payers, NOT from commercial payers. So, you aren't going to solve the problem, or even improve it, by handing more of it over to the government. You cannot solve the problem by giving more responsibility to the organization that has screwed it up in the first place.

That's really the crux of what I've had to say about it. If you want to argue with that go for it. This is obviously a subject about which you are not knowledgeable and if you and JF got together and pooled your knowledge, you STILL would not have a fraction of my knowledge of the subject. I'm sure there is some field you know about and I wouldn't presume to challenge you about it. But about health care finance, I know my shit.
