Ten

I recognize that Harvard Law Review is a big deal. I do not subscribe to the theory that graduating law school, even Harvard, or being on the Law Review, qualifies one for the presidency. My remark about whether they're qualified to practice law was [somewhat] tongue in cheek -- a reference to the fact that most people, even those graduating from Harvard, are pretty weak on the day the graduate, whatever field they're in. I was.

Ten, this guy has no experience that qualifies him for the office. I'm not saying he'd be a lousy president, but there is nothing in his background that suggests he would be competent in the job.

A Mother Asked The President

A mother asked the President...
'Why did my son have to die in Iraq?'

A mother asked the President...
'Why did my son have to die in Saudi Arabia?'

A mother asked the President...
'Why did my son have to die in Kuwait?'

Another mother asked the President...
'Why did my son have to die in Vietnam?'

Another mother asked the President...
'Why did my son have to die in Korea?'

Another mother asked the President...
'Why did my son have to die on Iwo Jima?'

Another mother asked the President...
'Why did my son have to die on a battlefield on a field in France?'

Yet another mother asked the President...
'Why did my son have to die at Gettysburg?'

And yet another mother asked the President...
'Why did my son have to die on a frozen field near Valley Forge?

Then long, long ago, a mother asked…'Heavenly Father,
why did my Son have to die on a cross outside of Jerusalem?'

The answer is the same...

'So that others may have life and dwell in peace, happiness, and freedom.'

This was emailed to me with no author. I thought the magnitude and the simplicity were awesome.
