We must stop presuming things like the VIX mean JQP is complacent. Why?????????????????????????????

JQP controls ONLY, i repeat ONLY 10% of the money in the market.
So the VIX level is controlled in NO WAY by JQP.

JQP no longer as anything to do with this market.

Amount of volume that is JQP is insignificant to the whole.

This goes for traders volume also.
It,JQP trading volume ,ultra minor compared to the Machines and what not.

Regards VIX especially, it is measured from options, JQP probably accounts for no more than 1% of options dealing.
Point of post: the complacency readings are of the 90% that RULE the market and that is not JQP.
The dip buying is now RULED by Super Computers running their algorithms, they have no fear, they have no nothing, just the algorithms that they run.
Once the algorithm is set, their is NO HUMAN input.
Once the program is started, all the trading is done AUTOMATICALLY.
Just a note to remind, the old rules are DEAD in many instances.
By the old rules this market would have already bottomed at about 1100 SPX.
The market has changed and forever.Max
