They should start. The RNC rates the Dems because they have figured out that if they use a term like "liberal" often enough in a derogatory way, then it becomes an insult that they can use in the elections to win. The Dems haven't figured out how to counter things like that. Even now, the Dems have been handed the term neo-con and have done nothing with it. If I were a Dem in power, I would use the term to label every Republican and I make sure they understood that neo-con = Cheney and Bush. That would make almost every Republican unelectable. Very few Americans think the neo-cons are good for this country.
