Well if those sisters have a clue, we could have more down to come

If we do happen to keep dwindling down, after summer comes fall and after fall comes tax loss selling season. So cheap juniors could go on a fire sell.

Likely? Who knows? Impossible? No.

I have come up with a new and fool proof indicator for a top in the gold market. Whenever we are topping, hyper excitable super bullish types come around this thread and start to get on jims case. So whenever you see folks insulting jims, telling him he's too pessimistic, that he should wake up and join the ride gold to the moon now crowd, and that he should really just shut up and stop posting, well that is the precise moment to sell. I call this the 'getting on jims case" sell sign.

And does anyone else have an indicator that works 100% of the time?

Seriously people (including esteemed threadsters) have an innate herd instinct. They tend to feel all warm and rosy when they see other posts agreeing with what they already think they know.
It's a case of: "I think gold is going to the moon now. You think gold is going to the moon now. Hey, you're a great guy."

But actually the poster to cherish is the one who disagrees with you. Read that guy and he'll make you think. That's why I have nobody on ignore and have people with all ranges of opinions book marked.
