Black liberation theology is a tiny virulent aberration. You can't confuse it with the liberal social gospel being taught in some mainline protestant and Catholic churches.

We belong to an ELCA Lutheran church which is considered pretty main line but we get no objectionable politics preached there. If there was I'd be out of there in a heart beat.

I agree, but am skeptical that Reverend Wright's divisive views are shared predominately among blacks nationally. At least for me, I have black friends who are proud to call America home and those who love her, their friends.
