Ted's further left than me, but no, he's no ideologue. I've been debating him for years and he's convinced me on some points and vice versa. That's what all Americans should be doing. LISTENING to each other and remember that we are all Americans first. We may have differences, but they pale in comparison with the differences between us and the Islamic radicals. So we'd better get our act together.

and ted is not an ideologue???

I am not an ideologue although I act like one when I deal with ideologues on this thread. The reality is that JF, CF, Z, Parsons, MM, myself etc all fall on different parts of the political specrum and don't agree on a number of issues but we are willing to discuss our differences, compromise where we can and when we can't, respect our differences. Its the ideologues who try to lump us altogether under the label of liberal. I would find it amusing if they weren't so dangerous.
