Here we go. Blaming Bush for Katrina again, when the fault lies TOTALLY with state and local government.

The federal government was never supposed to be a first responder in the case of a flood and it makes zero sense to even consider that possibility.

New Orleans was inaccessible by freeway in all directions. There was nothing the federal government could have done.

The problem was the idiots at local government who designated the Superdome (a facility designed to handle crowds for 4 hours at a time, with no backup food/water/power facilities) as a "shelter".

When Katrina happened in 2005, i realized how dumb i had been to follow these guys. Katrina even put iraq into perspective. Arrogant politicians who are incompetent to boot are what have been running this country. Even when they do something right, it seems by accident.

After mismanaging the passport office which made it very difficult to get a passport in less than 6 months, I am happy to report they have fixed the passport problem. I got my new one in 3 weeks. However, that's the only thing I have seen them do well.
