Everyone agrees that the Middle East could use less of our money, but not everyone agrees on the alternatives like ANWR, coal, and nuclear. And for years, McCain has positioned himself as the "maverick moderate," so much so that he has alienated the GOP conservative base. Why lump him with Rush Limbaugh and FOXNews?
