W's father is not omnipotent---after all he fathered W. I was for stopping at the end of the Gulf war. We had saddam in a box. Unfortunately the sob wouldnt die and appeared to be coming loose from sanctions and controls by 2003. Actually it was saddam who pushed the idea he had wmds. What a mess for sure but there were good people on either side in 2003. And we will never know if the powell plan would have worked in a way that might have validated some of the neocon thought on democracy in iraq.
