There's pretty good evidence that the European plagues of 15th and 16th centuries which wiped out 1/3 of Europe came from the Mongols (as a result of an early form of biological warfare when they were catapulting dead bodies into a Russian city they had under siege..) Is that an example of Eastern culture of the brutal realities of war..? The vast majority of indigenous peoples of the Americas were wiped by something that was invisible to the naked eye. Such diseases affected Europeans also but not in such a devastating manner. It is quite possible that benign contact from Europe, Asian, or Africa would have also wiped out the majority of the original population of the Americas.
