>>> I've seen that same distortion repeated throughout mainstream media.

McCain really blew it with that remark.

Of course, anyone taking it in context, who gives a damn about the truth, understood what he meant -- but the Left is having it drilled into their heads by Obama and Hillary, and they eat that crap up.

I think we could be out of Iraq much more quickly than anyone thinks. Iran is the key; they're really at the core of the security problem in Iraq today.

Bush needs tell Iran they have 10 days to end it or we they will suffer the consequences -- then stand behind the remark. I believe a stern warning followed by decisive action would cause that fanatic in Iran to back off.

Tenchu,

It's not just Alghieri.

I always considered Al to be a well meaning guy, which is why I am more surprised at him doing it than others doing it.

"McSame" is also evidence that the same liberal media who once praised McCain as a champion of moderates is now turning their back on him.

Bill Buckley used to say that he supports the right most viable candidate. Liberal media is pretty much doing the same (supporting leftmost viable candidate). That's why most of them support Obama, and their former hero (McCain) is now a pariah.

Joe
