My experience is that happiness comes from being right. But sometimes one can be happy and wrong - for a while anyway, if the thing is a small enough error.

Al Gore and other priesthoods can be wrong and happy, permanently, because they are right about what they really want, which is money, food, girls, power, centre of attention, travel and all the perks provided by their acolytes.
