I can point to many articles about how many Engineers China is turning out.. how China is more capitalist that the US (in the context of the articles - a good thing..) The overall impression is that Americans are in awe and admittedly to some degree in dread of China. China is now the other big kid on the block... so yeah, it's going to get tons of attention. The US gets tons of negative press globally.. it goes with the territory. 150 people dead (at the very most..) in Tibet outweighs over 3 million dead in the Congo. Maybe the PRC should hire Karl Rove... errr.. on second thought.. maybe not.
