Doc~

I just wanted to add my thoughts and prayers to all the others from your friends here in the "tub". I enjoyed reading about Sean's accomplishments, and I know how proud that had to make you feel. Especially since he played the game the "right way".

I, like you, am a sports nut, and loved playing the game as a kid (a left handed shortstop until I got booted to the outfield in high school). As it played out my son never had the desire to play ball, and after the initial years of tee ball, coach pitch and a third season he put the glove down for good.

While it saddened me at the time his love was writing, and he has just put the finishing touches on his first three act play at Syracuse (fortunately he got his Mom's genes, God rest her soul). I could not be a more proud Papa.

As Caly and others have said Sean's long term health is what is most important, and I hope all the news is good on that front. The memories are always there, and hopefully you will have decades to tell your grandkids about how their Dad played the game. Be Well.

Tom
