Your claim is that he believed it, but didn't write it, so you attribute it to him even though he didn't? That makes sense to you? I don't know the details; it has been about 20 years or something and I only vaguely remember the dustup about it. But it was, as usual, overblown. There was never any evidence the man was a "Holocaust denier" as Michael called him. He simply questioned some particulars on how things were done, as I recall.
