It is pretty PC when you decide you will put a losing candidate up "for the good of the party"! What the hell does Kenneth mean? Oh that...lol I did manage it kind of well. It took 3 years. First I stopped cutting the grass along the tree line to the pond where those filthy Canada Goose population nested. That gave the coyotes and raccoons access to both the birds and the eggs. Then I got two rhodesian ridgeback pups, a male and female. The goose problem solved I rubbed swan feathers all over a wooden swan and would pet them and the wooden swan together. They never chewed on the swan although the did whack some furniture. <g> I then put 8 live swans on the pond and the wooden swan on the shore. They never bothered the swans and would watch me feed them. I cut the lawns up to the tree line and let the dogs out at night. Needless to say there are no more coyotes or coons in the area at night. The ridgebacks are night stalkers. They used to be protection from tribal raids and also used for lion hunting. They are not timid. So now everything is perfect. The swans don't ruin the water like the geese and now ducks join them too. The ridgebacks don't allow predators in the area and they don't like Geese LOL They don't mind the ducks at all. No without the geese ruining the water the largemouth Bass are thriving. In fact if you come out this summer I can guarantee many in the 3 to 5 pound level. :^D
