You obviously have the contrary view here. I have affection for the serbs too, given the role they played in WW2 I have no affection for Serbs, I just know a thing or two about Albanians, and KLA in particular. If the fact that Osama BinLaden was helping KLA is not enough for you, maybe this could be an eye opener about whom the US was allied with under Clinton:Former war crimes prosecutor alleges Kosovan army harvested organs from Serb prisoners guardian.co.uk i dont think their hands were clean either in bosnia or kosovo. There is a big difference. In Bosnia, the war crimes were committed by Bosnian Serbs - by paramilitary gangs, not regular Serbian army. Serbian army never got involved. If it did, it would have been a very short campaign, since not of the groups involved even remotely matched Serbian army. One regular army did get involved in Bosnia - Croatian. They crushed Bosnian Serbs, ending the conflict, while Serbian army never got involved. It would certainly have been interesting if Serbia (aka Yugoslavia) entered the conflict on the side of Bosnian Serbs. Milosovic was probably smart enough to know that his allies were far (Moscow), while the enemies were near (hint: Germany was one of the first countries to recognise independance of Croatia). WW2 parallel certainly would have existed in that scenario.I dont know enough about the albanians in kosovo but i do know they control 90% of the population in kosovo. That was not always the case. One good place to look for a parallel is the Jewish population of Germany, prior and after Nazi takeover. Many Jews saw the writing on the wall and escaped their doom. So did the Serbs from Kosovo - at least those who could afford it. Speaking of Jewish people, Israel in 100 years will be the Kosovo of 1990s. Joe
