Urge your lawmakers to co-sponsor this bill.

The official gov't narrative on cannabis is that it is 100% bad.

By allowing medicinal use, that narrative would collapse.

It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Gersh -

Good for Ron Paul and Barney Franks. As a man undergoing chemotherapy right now, I'm all for it. I had a talk with my oncologist about nausea control, and she says that marijuana is very effective for some people, as is Marinol. She had nothing against marijuana at all.

You say the bill is stuck in the committee on energy? How does energy have anything to do with it?

It seems crazy that a bill like this can't get through Congress, though there's not much point in passing it while Bush is in office. He'd veto it, for sure. But it's not like they're even talking about legalizing the stuff completely. Doesn't seem like such a radical idea.
