I am sure Iran is going to rely on missiles for both offense and defense. They are ahead of the world with that strategy. Airplanes and ships, tanks and armor are militarily obsolete. The Israelis were aware of this but the reality was brought home when a bunch of Lebanese militia stopped their armored offense cold with shoulder fired missiles. We don't want to get in a position where the nuts on both sides of the game are reduced to having to consider a nuclear option.
