The fact of knowing someone, or even being close to someone who has such views is still not, to my mind, evidence of sharing those views, nor of some kind of defect of character. I was just pointing out some ways to differentiate to someone who said he saw no difference. I, of course, can find ways to differentiate between just about any two things. Doing so is good brain exercise--keeps me young. <ggg>> I agree that it's not evidence of sharing those views, but it does raise questions. Relationships are complicated.
