Rather, they want to interfere in Darfur precisely because the American Ox is not gored in Darfur. So they can use the military without getting the cooties of American Imperialism.

Everytime I ask what they would want to do once Al Qaeda begins suicide-bombing our troops in Darfur, liberals look blank. "Surely they wouldn't do that, it's a humanitarian mission," they say.

It's too late; we are committed overseas. They should support that commitment without trying to undermine it.

It seems like their ox is always something that has nothing to do with US national interests. Mogadishu, etc.
