No using Ms instead of Mrs is used to show solidarity with feminism.

I use it because it fits best. I was once a Miss and later a Mrs. and have subsequently been a Ms., ever since the title was coined. There are lots of reasons why women choose one or another when there is a choice to be made. How do you know why she uses it? Do you have a source?

I use it because it's more polite. Everyone I know in business uses it now- so you don't accidentally call a Mrs a Miss or vice versa. It's nice to have an equivalent to "Mr."- even if you aren't a feminist.
