And just for the hell of it, this is the post I tried to write late last night, then deleted, and sent privately to Alan this morning. In response to 'cat got your tongue?' No, but I thought better of continuing the youtube stuff. I actually enjoyed the Leonard Cohen video you posted. Even when I don't particularly like an artist I make an attempt to see and appreciate what others see in him/her. The group I had posted about is the Cowboy Junkies, a Canadian family (mostly), who I enjoy. In fact, I tried to get in the idea that I'd be up for marriage, lunch, a romp in the hay, whatever, with Margo Timmins despite my earlier claim to the contrary. Didn't see a good way to say that without sounding stupid. And it was late. Anyway, I very rarely listen to music of any sort anymore, but it's fun to spend an hour on youtube once in a while. One of my favorite pieces is a tape we have of Marlena Dietrich singing Little Drummer Boy in German. She can't hold a note but does a great job anyway.
