McCain was skewered on MSNBC tonight for the inconsistency of that statement. Who knows what he really meant, maybe McCain himself wasn't sure. I can't wait to hear the clarification tomorrow morning.

Ayers and Fox - no surprise there. It's what their "base" wants to hear from them, so they deliver.

"he will have a energy policy that will result in the US never having to send US troops to war in the ME."

Any idea of what point he was trying to make. Wonder which Democratic candidate will agree with him on this.

He is pandering again. Tell 'em what they wanna hear. It doesn't matter what you promise. Once you're in, there are always reasons why it can't be done, always someone else to blame if necessary.

The straight talker has become a ___________. Let's have a contest to creatively fill in the blank.

I used to watch Fox in the past, but their bias is really showing. The day after the Wright fiasco, Fox was doing coverage, and I began noticing that when any of the guests said anything that even remotely distanced or defended Obama, the blonde female who does the day show quickly interrupted with comments like "C'mon he went there thirty years!" She was so blatantly and frequently turning this against Obama and allowing no alternative opinion that I started counting. Forget the total now, but it was rather high. She sounded like a Rep. operative. I'm not usually very quick to pick up on things like this, but I had to switch to CNN because I started yelling at her.
