Things change with time.

100 years ago, Europe was prosperous and sane. Then it went crazy for thirty years and now it is prosperous and sane once again.

When Marco Polo visited China in 1274, it was a peaceful and prosperous place. Later, it went through centuries of invasions and civil war. Today, it finally seems to be getting its groove back - which is a very good omen for the future.

Bush won't be in power much longer, although the possibility that he might start a really big war before he goes gives me the creeps. It's like watching a five year old running around holding a burning stick of dynamite - you have to hope that an adult takes it away before he hurts himself and everyone else.

Anyway, stop watching CNN and Fox - PBS is usually ok in limited amounts (PBS station KSPS - serving Spokane, Calgary and Edmonton).

Government and mainstream media are failing. IMHO, the Internet is increasingly becoming the way by which people communicate and make social decisions.

I tried to make a conscious effort and stop complaining about Bush last summer. After several thousand posts on Political threads. 1 year later i'm still holding my nose waiting for January 2009. Bush and his nightmare of egoic consciousness will soon end.
