When you search "Ocean Dead Zones" you get 2 million 460 thousand hits. That's hardly insubstantial. People can pound global warming too- it is quite likely to affect more and more people, if we don't see some respite. It's not as if it isn't happening. I would never say I know how much effect we'd have if man stopped adding to the warming- but I certainly can see that warming has already been, and will continue to be, a problem- especially for low lying areas. For some reason you don't like the GW pounding. More power to you on pounding the table on that one. I don't happen to agree with you.
