I said before the race that i thought for big brown to win would make him akin to Seattle Slew and Spectacular Bid. Im confident we are looking at the next triple crown winner. Very sad about the filly. Brings back memories of Ruffian's match race.

You ever heard of a horse breaking two ankles while breezing after the race? Neither have I....very strange to say the least!

I heard PETA decided to get their nose under the camel's tent and blame the jockey.....I wonder more about the trainer and some kinda exotic medications. 'Equine Growth Hormone' or somesuch......<G?> Very sad in any event.

Big Brown did look awfully tough though.....
