The GM Volt will have a 600 mile range. It will be electric with a small engine to assist recharge of the batter. Range won't be a problem. The Volt will get 100mpg. gm-volt.com Your doubt is charming, but silly. I remember having the debate with people who used to say that the Internet didn't need to be any faster, when all we had was 56K modems. And before that with folks claiming we didn't need more PC power, when all we had was 10 MHz. LOL.
