I think the (D)'s anticipated that as this pointless, loser war dragged on, that enough of the (R)'s would defect in order to be re-elected to over-ride the president's veto. They were wrong.

There's really only TWO solutions. Elect enough (D)'s to over-ride the veto, or, elect a (D) president.

They've tried to talk down the war in Iraq and failed, they've tried to talk down the economy and failed, and now you have two of the worst democrats entering a cage match in Denver.
