I'm not sure how conservative a Christian he is: Smith, a friend of Scientology's biggest follower Tom Cruise, denies he's a member, telling the New York Daily News, "I am a Christian. I am a student of all religions. And I respect all people and all paths." I can't remember the last time I heard a conservative religious person say they were a student of ALL religions. He has been very liberal in his quotes, and his liberality has gotten him in to trouble- not his conservatism. If you look at all the brouhahas he's been in- it's because he has said liberal things. I think he's clearly a fairly liberal guy. Did you read the quote about him wanting to leave the US because of the way people view the US? I think we know what kind of guy Will is. If any other democrat had done and said the things Will has you'd be calling him a commie :-) Heck, he may BE a commie for all I know, but he obviously isn't a conservative.
