Sure giving Gore an awful lot of credit. Quite the opposite. I find his asserting that despicable in so many ways. He is the object of every bit of contempt I can muster. What if Gore is right but just off a decade or two or five? If he's off by a decade, we've still missed the train. Five is another matter. Suggesting that there may be a tipping point out there a few decades away would be healthy, constructive, and intellectually honest. If your life depended on making the train, would you ever give up catching it? You betcha. If I'm a gonner, I'm not about to go out stupid. Way too strong a sense of dignity and sensibility for that. I would try to find something of value to do with the time. There is always something of value that you can do.
