Didn't they also have movies at the drive-in? HWL!!! Yes, that was the prime purpose of the drive ins....Movies.... I remember Summer Place too....We were young and naive'....Didn't Troy Donahue die several years ago?

I used to be madly in love with Jeff Chandler....and he did die young....Seemed like a great guy, and had blazing blue eyes....

That little bouncing ball was to keep everyone entertained while the sun went down....and was before the News of the week, the cartoon, and the previews.... Those were the days!
