Here's mine:

So you and your NEIGHBOR each bought identical, adjacent houses for 550k.

You mortgaged 500k last year and put down $50K. Your NEIGHBOR got 100 per cent LTV mortgage

You pay your mortgage on time every month.

Your NEIGHBOR doesn't and his bank drops his mortgage to 400k.

So, now you're screwed to the tune of 150k plus 29 years of interest on the 150k and your house is worth 150k less.

Is this what you really want to do?

Do want all the home owners who pay their mortgages angry?

How about the renters who were frozen out of the market by too high home prices?

You want to do his to support the handful of home owners who speculated and lost?
