Joking? Not joking. Trying to make a serious point in a casual and indirect way. It's a point about jumping to demonizing conclusions. When someone brushes off your attribution of dead zones to GW, that doesn't warrant a charge of being amused by GW let alone relishing the potential suffering that might ensue. That's even more unwarranted than charging someone who wants to put cost consideration back into health care with enjoying the prospect of people dying in the streets.
