The entire mess is almost too much with which to cope and hence all the media attention to politics.. Notice how we have ceased to really know what is going on. One has to listen to an embedded reporter with NPR who appeared on Bill Moyer's journal to know what is really happening there. Last night 60 Minutes did a story on Pat Tillman. He was the hero of everyone for his patriotism....giving up a few million dollar pro football contract and enlisting to fight for his country. He died unceremoniously and it was covered up by the Army for propaganda purposes to make him a hero. His Mother was interviewed and she is still trying to find out what really happened. Several of his Ranger buddies spoke to what a great guy he was and how he would not have liked all the publicity that has surrounded his death. Nor the falsehoods told about him. Distressing. He did not want to be a hero.
