Will the public take Warren Buffett's pronouncements about the market or economy as unbiased, now that BRK has $4.9 billion of premiums from selling index puts ($100 m loss Q4, $1.2 b loss Q1)?

This is the type of conflict in BRK's 19.9% ownership of MCO.

It looks OK now, but if circumstances change and Moody's wants to lower BRK from AAA to AA, will they hesitate, delay, or inform Buffett (or a successor), thereby giving him market-moving information? Look at the notice to MBI and ABK about the capital they needed to raise to retain their ratings.
