I like mountain ponies with short thick legs that can go up and down the rocks carrying an elk.

Look at all these dogs and cats that people breed for long hair, short nose, short legs, funny ears, etc.

Too much dabbling, if you ask me.

We had a horse that foundered today. Luna Badi, an Arabian mare that won many dressage trophies but is now 28. Instead of a bullet we had the vet and farrier out and have found some last years grass hay that's in good shape. The grass in the pasture was so late coming to life this year due to global warming it came up richer than normal causing the founder.
