Hyperinflation, which by definition is the chart below,
won't hit for another 5-7 years IMHO, although I don't
really have a clue. However, current policies ensure much
higher inflation a year from now, so the Fed is on the
right track -g- Perhaps, well in
the teens or even more. What's happening to food and oil
prices is just that, the beginning. It's not evil OPEC raising
prices, or futures speculators bidding them up.



The reason is that government spending drastically exceeds
its revenue, so technically US government is insolvent.
Moreover, insovent US government has lowered taxes yet
again and assumed credit risk for the mortgage mess.
